Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) Plant
A turnkey plant approach encompassing the process, equipment, utilities and automation for CMC production, from raw-material preparation through packaging.
Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) Plant
Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a cellulose derivative used in the oil-drilling and detergent industries as well as in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, ceramics, textiles and mining. The production line requires coordinated management of raw-material preparation, alkalisation, reaction, washing, solvent recovery, drying and product-finishing stages.
Feyas addresses CMC plants for technical- and purified-grade production targets within a scope covering process design, equipment fabrication, utilities, automation and site installation. The source statement “up to 99.5% purity” is retained as a process target; the actual result is evaluated together with the selected raw material and defined operating conditions.
