Cellulose Ethers Plant (MC, HPC, HPMC, HEC, MHEC)
A turnkey cellulose ethers plant encompassing process equipment, utilities and automation for the production of MC, HPC, HPMC, EC, HEC and MHEC.
Cellulose Ethers Plant (MC, HPC, HPMC, HEC, MHEC)
Cellulose ethers are produced by reacting cellulose, a natural polymer, with etherifying agents such as methyl chloride, propylene oxide or ethylene oxide after alkalisation with liquid caustic. The type and ratio of the agent and the process conditions determine the methyl cellulose (MC), hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), ethyl cellulose (EC), hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) and hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (MHEC) product families.
For different capacities and product specifications, Feyas designs the process line from raw-material preparation through packaging as a turnkey scope incorporating equipment fabrication, solvent management, utilities, automation and site installation.
